The Beginning at the End

I cannot believe I am working on this portfolio. I clearly remember reading about it at the beginning of this journey and thinking it was so far away, almost elusively so.

Yet, here I am. I am humbled. This journey has been transformational for me; I learned humility, and I learned the value of really listening to others whose voices and paths paved the way for me. I learned I cannot do this alone, and that I do not want to do it alone. I learned that I have dear family and friends, whose understanding of my absence showers my life with grace and unconditional love.

Most importantly, I learned to keep relying on the Giver of Life, my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, whose life in me enables me to keep going, finding wisdom for the necessary balance, and courage to continue knocking at doors I never considered attempting to knock. Thank you for being here with me, and I pray this will be the beginning of many joyful moments of discovery.
