Welcome!

I am very happy you are here. My doctoral journey has been filled with numerous joyful moments, perseverance, and tears. Although the waves are not always calm, my focus was on the horizon, and there, I found God’s grace, embrace, and motivation to continue my calling through God’s purpose for my life. I am humbled God has allowed me to grow and learn through this process; the waves kept coming and God gave me the ability to surf them, even after many falls.

GRATITUDE: I would like to thank the Giver of Breath and Life, Jesus Christ; my wonderful husband; my amazing children; and my faithful friends – I could not have done it without each of you.

Within these pages, you will find artifacts that demonstrate my competency in the five areas of the doctoral program outlined by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP, 2016): counseling, supervision, teaching, research and scholarship, and leadership and advocacy. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to read my reflections throughout each standard.
